Minor in Chemistry
A minor in chemistry consists of 19-20 hours, including Chem 105, 106, 115, 116; 221, 222, 225, 226; and 3-4 hours at the 300 or higher level or Phcl 343. The following courses may not be used for major or minor credit: Chem 101, 103, 104, 113, 114, 121, 201, 202, 271, 381, 382, or 383.
A minor in chemistry is an excellent addition to several science degrees such as biology and physics. It is also useful in pre-professional degrees such as though that lead to law school.
